Jakulaith Sir’Musawi Wolff is a multidisciplinary artist who knows no limitation to creativity and integrates different survival expressions into colours across various mediums including literature and visual art. Surviving a deeply abusive childhood where he was denied the freedom of expression, he immigrated to Australia alone to leave a toxic home behind and chase after that simple human right only to fall and rise again from homelessness later, patiently growing himself up and out of pain by being resilient and determined to build a future defined by creative freedom, joy, and self-expression without boundaries, turning dark, past struggles into raw, beautiful art that inspires and makes an impact.

 

His artistic journey started with writing poetry, also photography throughout homelessness and painting when he used to be a busker, now ever-evolving into various forms of visual art including his self-defined CRYSTALS crowns, literary books, fashion design jewelry through his established fashion brand SANDSTORM fashion, also inspirational content creation and music through Youtube where he turns survival and despondency into empowerment and play through imagination into his whimsical and creative 'Starlight Starship' universe, where he is known by his artistic name 邪 YOKOSHIMA, his empowerment explained below.

Growing up in a poor, broken world without art and music where agency and freedom were considered forbidden sins, and with no future in sight, Jakulaith had secretly crafted his own happy little imaginary universe since childhood in a room that was barred like a prison, throughout which he was always neglected and traumatized with frightful experiences — where he was surviving through imagination in his own bubble, dreaming inside 'a boxed room without a window', as his first book The Homeless Photographer explains.

'Then I've had enough and left it all behind by escaping all the way down to Australia as a lone immigrant, scared and alone, but brave and free. I survived everything including three years of homelessness with patience, resilience, genuine love and super lucky smile, and the universe provides for those who strive indeed. Besides self-advocacy, I want to share joy and inspiration where I can by using my voice, story, and artistry, so I create with purpose and intention what sparks joy both for me and the world to make an impact and leave a legacy behind.'
