Black Fruit was born after I left a toxic, rotten friendship just recently. When I’m hurt, I choose to channel the energy of disappointment and heartache into creativity, new growth, and building relationships that aren’t wasted by constant conflict.

 

The olives appeared subconsciously. I realised they represent the life I’m striving to cultivate: one of slow living, peace, grace, introspection, self-love, and shared creativity. A life where energy is spent growing something graceful and abundant together. This painting reflects the mindset and philosophy I choose to live by. I’d rather invest my energy in creating, growing, deepening introspection and self-love, and cultivating a life that nourishes everyone who shares this graceful fruit.
