Wi'Am (2021)

'Harmony' in Arabic.

'Surviving homelessness, in a nest of my own at last to call Home, unlike painting outdoors, I didn't have access and couldn't afford for a suitable space to experiment with painting abstract anymore because the place was carpeted and compact, and there is nothing more sinister and depressing than depriving an artist from makig art, so I had to experiment with my imagination instead in such a way I could rationalize how much paint I used and that felt like trying to swim with your hands cuffed at the back, so I made these bizarre stuff you see here that made me feel warm and fuzzy inside before giving up altogether because the paint was hard to wash off the carpet... when I've soon lost motivation to paint all together due to toxic work environments with very low pay that dragged me deeper down into anxiety and depression.

As my Love Letter service reveals, I couldn't even create my signature miniature paintings the way I used to without paint going all over the apartment. How unfair...'

Thanks to the universe, Wi'Am had another purpose for me; to make a book of ethereal tales based on each painting I made in this chapter of my life.'
